Client brief
To fulfil the desired design scheme, the streetlight unlike a conventional pole stands proudly over a 2.25m high red granite pedestal. The form of the poles takes inspiration from the Roomi gate arch which adds to the creation of an avenue leading people towards the gate. Through lighting, the intent of the space was to create an environment conducive to them in particular and the city as a whole. ILDL used Luminaires from Heper, Lec and Derksen to execute the lighting design done by Archohm and achieve the required lighting levels.
