• Client brief Set in the culturally rich and shahi city of Lucknow, this luxurious and royal hotel Taj Mahal is designed by Designer’s Group Architects and Interior Designers. Chikankari, a traditional embroidery style and prestigious trinket of the city is taken as the core concept for this project. The overall architecture of this heritage hotel is a unique blend of Indo-gothic style assimilating Islamic arches. The central dome, the arches, the jaalis, the gardens, and the balconies - they all scream Mughal, taking one back into the Nawabi vibe and feel of the space.
