II BY IV DESIGN is proud to unveil Aqualuna, the final and most architecturally ambitious instalment of the landmark Bayside community on Toronto’s Lake Ontario waterfront. This luxury residential project delivers a fully realised interior design experience that brings sculptural form, natural materiality, and quiet sophistication together in perfect harmony.
Aqualuna is both a distinct design statement and a natural continuation of the overall masterplan. Working closely with the architectural language of the building, the interiors echo its signature undulating façade, embracing the fluidity of the waterfront setting while offering a serene and elevated residential atmosphere. With two expansive lobbies, a seventh-floor amenity terrace, wellness zones, lounges, and a lower-level retreat, the interior program reflects the full spectrum of contemporary urban luxury.
Design vision
Aqualuna’s interior design takes inspiration from its sculptural silhouette, translating architectural rhythm into warm, flowing interiors. Soft curves, layered materials, and gentle sightlines guide residents through spaces that feel at once intimate and expansive. A neutral, light-filled palette anchored by brushed metals, tactile textiles, and warm-toned stone creates a sense of effortless luxury.
The north and south lobbies serve as immersive arrival experiences. Here, soaring ceilings and four-storey bronze pillars act as glowing vertical anchors, casting a golden warmth throughout the space. Custom furnishings, curated Canadian artworks, and thoughtfully integrated lighting reinforce a connection to place, while achieving a level of refinement that speaks to a global sensibility. An artificial sky light follows cues of the inspiring works of James Turrell—paired with a statement light fixture, Aqualuna’s lobby is an ever-changing masterpiece.
Amenity areas continue this vision through a holistic approach to materiality and experience. The sixth-floor indoor-outdoor lounge offers panoramic views of Lake Ontario, softened by sheer drapery that filters natural light without disconnecting from the landscape.

LEED®-aligned construction and waste diversion protocols were rigorously followed, reinforcing the developer’s dedication to future-focused building practices. At Aqualuna, aesthetics and environmental stewardship are seamlessly integrated, raising the bar for luxury waterfront development in Canada.
