REPUBLIC OF II BY IV is thrilled to debut the Samara Collection, in collaboration with Sentta, at Salone del Mobile 2024 in Milan, Italy. The launch of this collection marks a milestone for both companies’ inaugural collaboration.

Comprised of a lounge chair, sofa, and sectional, the Samara Collection takes its aesthetic cues from the dynamic movement and constantly shifting landscape of dunes, caused by the desert wind. Drawing on the mesmerizing effect of shifting light and shadow across the sand, the collection exudes a bold presence, while maintaining a sense of awe and tranquillity.

Specialized techniques were required to ensure the distinctive gestures of both the solid wood base and the upholstery. The standout feature of the collection lies in its impeccable execution of the voluptuous upholstered back. Emphasis was placed on perfecting the proportions of the curved back detail to achieve a balance of comfort and functionality.

From its bold silhouette to its materiality, Samara exemplifies the partnership’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and environmental responsibility, enhancing interior spaces and contributing to a more sustainable future for generations to come.

The Samara Collection will be on display at Salone del Mobile from April 16-21, 2024, at Hall 5 Stand B03.
