Aarushi Kalra, creative director at I’mX, is a Spatial Designer who likes to give people a small ‘ ! ’ moment, through her designs. She aims to create spaces that inspire and excite, allowing the viewers to find a connect with these spaces intuitively.

Having trained as an architect, her work is methodical and her vision for interiors seeks structure. She likes her designs to be curious, introspective and inquisitive; something that delves into an idea bigger than mere spatial experience.

She hopes to work fluidly between multiple disciplines like architecture, interior design, set design, art and fashion; challenging and immersing viewers into provocative, layered and experimental environments that explore the art of storytelling through a multi-layered spatial design language.

She has received wide appreciation for her work at the RCA, along with a distinction for her research paper by the RCA Academic Board- “It was a dress that triggered it all…A personal exploration of Fashion
