In 2015, Mangrove Collective began as a ‘collaborative design’ studio. Over time, the firm has grown into a ‘design and make workshop’ dedicated to crafting customised furniture, millwork and projects.

Collaboration is an important part of our process. The team of 60 highly-skilled craftsmen and designers function collaboratively and as equals. Our clients are actively involved as a participant in personalising their furniture and thus our process becomes a story. Our workspace, similar to our processes, is open and transparent, and our studio-cooked lunch brings the entire team together, often sparking spontaneous brainstorming sessions.
At Mangrove, we believe in a “conscious process” that celebrates local resources, rich traditional craftsmanship, and where designers, craftsmen, and clients are equal partners.
