About

Anand graduated from K.R.V.I.A in 1997. During his formative years he had the privilege to work under Ar. Rahul Mehrotra to prepare a detailed set of measured drawings for the Rajabhai Clock Tower, as part of a heritage conservation program. After graduation, Anand did his internship under the guidance of Ar. Nitin Killawala. During this period he was exposed to the concepts of scale and proportion, in addition to the aesthetics of colour. It was here that his unofficial partnership with Shobhan flourished through their interactions. Following this, he spent the next three years in Dubai where he worked with two international architectural practices, namely the PHB group and Rice Perry Ellis. His work in Dubai exposed him to large scale projects like malls and the high level of drawings and details that were necessary to create world class buildings. The exposure helped him to understand the values of time and resource management.
