Our clients are deeply fond of yellows and browns, and we wanted to incorporate these shades in a bold, impactful manner in their 4 BHK apartments in Noida. We designed the space with varied and unique colour palettes in each room, making each space distinctive and diverse. Spread across an area of 2,500 sq. ft., this apartment exudes a subtle, breathable luxury. An open floor plan allows for an incredible living and dining space perfect for hosting social gatherings. While the base palette is neutral, fresh vividness is integrated using bold decor elements such as rugs, artworks, and furniture pieces. Light colours on the walls and combining the living and dining rooms, make the space appear bigger.
The entrance of Raj Niwas opens into an informal living room steeped in a yellow colour and monochrome palette, which runs throughout the home, unifying the spaces.
The living room has been kept highly modest and bare, allowing it to look more spacious. At our studio, we believe that every object and space reflects its environment and the people who live there. The people living in this house are simple and large-hearted, and we wanted that to be reflected in their living room.
The dining table has a classic, organic silhouette. The upholstered chairs in yellow and grey make a statement. The furnishings have clean lines or rounded edges, and are strong and sturdy, without frilly adornments.
The dining area is adorned with a custom-designed dining table and chairs in a contemporary style. The teak wooden support with gold inlay detail holds the rich Italian marble top, while the chairs are also done in a walnut teak and gold detail with subtle upholstery in grey tones.
The master chefs in our lives deserve a spectacular kitchen space. With bespoke granite platforms, the finest range of appliances, and a spacious design, the kitchen is low maintenance and evokes happiness for the family.
This theme continues with a modern minimal mandir block tucked inside the wall with subtle wallpaper all around it.
The daughter wanted a pink bedroom that would not look too young for her age, so we aimed to create a mature pink bedroom. The floral curtains help maintain the traditional continuity while the curved upholstery bed back and the arched wardrobe façade bring in modernity. All the furniture pieces have been carefully designed with circular edges and custom-made cabinet handles, which not only highlight the furniture but also make it kid-friendly.
The master bedroom is an acquiescence of different grey hues – regent grey in the bed back quilting and stone-grey sheets, set together with whites on the wardrobe, to style a space that creates a sense of fun and excitement.
On the other hand, the son’s bedroom has a bold theme that differs from the rest of the house, with the bed back as the highlight of the room, along with an elongated side table.
Our focus was on creating a free-flowing balcony with a seamless connection to the living room. This not only brings natural light into the deeper spaces but also increases the visual expanse of the home.
